What are Cannabinoids

Cannabinoids are chemical compounds that naturally occur in the cannabis plant and have been found to have positive medical effects on the central nervous system and immune system in humans and animals.   There are three types of cannabinoids:  Phyto cannabinoids, endogenous cannabinoids and synthetic cannabinoids.

Phyto cannabinoids are those found in the cannabis plant, endogenous are the cannabinoids our bodies make and cannabinoids that are synthetic are man-made.
